How to Join (Step-by-Step) |

NOTE: For best results use Firefox as your Internet browser. If you do not have Firefox, you may want to download it. If you are using Internet Explorer, check to see what version you have. Most problems result from using a version lower than 7 (which is severely out of date). If you are using something lower than 7, you should upgrade. If you are on a Mac, Safari should be okay, but you will have the best luck with FIrefox.
1. Point to "Join" on the main menu, click on "Join Now!"
2. Choose the appropriate payment box. You can choose to pay via Paypal, or you can mail a check.
3. Follow the steps given to register, including filling in the secret code at the top. (Note, it sometimes takes a few seconds for that code to appear.) Descriptions of the little icons are at the top. Some fields are required, some are not. Some are not visible to anyone but Pennwriters staff. The icons will tell you which are which. The blue "i" icons give you additional tips about a field when you point to them.
5. WRITE Down your password.
(Your password can never be retrieved or seen by me--ever. It can only be reset.)
That's it! You are now a member! Login and fill in your profile. Check the help menu after login for additional help tips.
